Kevin M. Karami

As one of the founders of SDK Mr. Karami brings over 45 years of architectural and professional experience to the firm. As President of SDK Design Group, he is responsible for the visionary design direction for the firm. He works closely with SDK’s team of talented architects, designers, and interior designers designing award winning projects that encompasses single family, multi-family, hospitality, and retail projects.

Mr. Karami’s design knowledge has spanned through many regions which include United States, China, Korea, Egypt, and the UAE. “Design and perfection are my passion, no matter the scale of our projects or region, we always design to our clients’ needs and budget. Floor plans need to have a gracious flow and design that creates a three-dimensional sculpture which is pleasing to the eye.” His diverse background and commitment in maintaining the integrity of historical and contemporary architecture positions SDK to be a leader in design.

Mr. Karami has been recognized by clients and industry peers around the globe and has been featured in several architectural publications. Throughout his career he has mentored numerous designers and excels at leading by example, he puts a strong emphasis on leading the forefront of the company with youthful staff. He understands young leaders come into play by their abilities in embracing change, understanding generational trends, inspiring others, and developing ambitious goals. Mr. Karami holds a degree from Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).
